At Vesper Homes, we are currently working on another project that proves modern timber frame construction is not just a choice for private investors – it is a smart, sustainable and fast solution for municipalities and their residents alike.
◾️ In Horní Moštěnice, we are expanding the existing supported senior housing capacity by 4 new residential units. ◾️ The municipality has had very positive experience with timber-based supported living for 5 years now – and the seniors themselves are more than satisfied. ◾️ Prefabricated timber construction means minimal disruption to village life during the build, shorter construction time compared to traditional methods, and high quality thanks to the production of structural panels in controlled factory conditions. Our prefabricated sandwich panels, including prefabricated timber carpentry elements, were covered under the roofing membrane by the second day on site. ◾️ The Horní Moštěnice project is evidence of a growing trend: municipalities across the Czech Republic are discovering the benefits of timber buildings for public and social projects. ◾️ As a natural and renewable material, wood offers a low carbon footprint across both construction and operation, outstanding thermal insulation performance, energy-efficient running costs for both the municipality and residents, and fast delivery without compromising on quality.
